Trade Mission Details

Thailand

U.S. citizen tourists entering Thailand for fewer than 30 days do not require a visa. Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the date of your entry into Thailand. Thai immigration officials may ask for your onward/return ticket.

Canadian Passport Holders. Canadian passport holders with at least 6 months validity remaining on the passport and a confirmed airline ticket out of Thailand (proof of leaving within 30 days) do not need a visa for visiting Thailand up to 30 days for tourism purposes.

Malaysia

  • Your passport must be valid for at least six months.
  • You do not need a visa if you are coming for business or tourism for 90 days or less.
  • Immigration officials will place an entry stamp, known as a social visit pass (visa), in your passport authorizing a stay of up to 90 days.

Canadian citizens using Canadian passports do not require a visa to enter Malaysia for tourism or business stays under ninety (90) days. Canadian citizens will get a visa-on-arrival in Malaysia valid for up to three months. Apply IN PERSON at the HIGH COMMISSION OF MALAYSIA.

Singapore

US/Canada

If you plan on regional travel beyond Singapore, make sure that your passport is valid for at least six months beyond the date you plan to enter other countries in the region. You do not need a visa for tourist or business visits up to 90 days.

All foreign visitors must ensure that they meet of possess the following entry requirements by the Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority. US and Canadian passport holders (regular, official and diplomatic) do not require a visa to enter Singapore for business or social visit purposes.

 

No inoculations needed on all these countries.

Insurance: We strongly recommend Travel Insurance. Pre-existing conditions are covered PROVIDED Insurance premium is paid with deposit or within 21 days thereof. Alternatively, premium may be paid with final payment. Insurance cannot be purchased after final payment has been received by SITA. Insurance is non-refundable. A signed Acknowledgement, provided by SITA, is required by the passenger whether accepting or declining SITA’s insurance.

Baggage: International flights have varying baggage allowances. Please check the baggage allowance with your International carrier. Most domestic flights allow one check in bag up to 33 lbs.

Inoculations: We recommend that you contact Passport Health at 1-888-499 7277 or www.passporthealthusa.com at least 6 weeks prior to departure for questions regarding country-specific health counseling.
