CCIM Cultural Diversity Program Overview
The Institute’s Cultural Diversity Advisory Board’s goal is to achieve “full representation” by having a 25% cultural diverse population in line with the U.S. population. The Institute will accomplish this by introducing the commercial investment educational opportunities to individuals who might not have considered or had the opportunity to consider this field as a career option. In 2007, about 200 students have been able to take advantage of this program with 30% continuing with the core courses.

This course is approved for 14 Clock Hours Credits through the State of Washington

Registration
For students to take this course, an individual has to apply to be a part of the Cultural Diversity Program through the Institute. Click one of the following links to view a sample of the application.

After the application is approved, the student is sent a registration form.

$30 for processing fee only.

Introduction to Commercial Investment Real Estate

Presented by CCIM's Cultural Diversity Education Program

March 11-12, 2009 -- Anaheim, CA

An introductory course in commercial investment real estate will be offered on a no-cost scholarship basis to qualified minority real estate professionals in Orange County, March 11-12, 2009, through CCIM Institute, an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors® and a leader in commercial investment real estate education.

The course, Introduction to Commercial Investment Real Estate, is part of the organization's Cultural Diversity Education Program (CDEP), which is designed to bolster minority representation within the industry. Candidates accepted will be admitted to the course free of charge, but will be required to pay a $30 application fee. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis depending on the location. There are several Introduction courses available throughout the country.
