AREAA Professional Development

AREAA offers professional development courses designed to provide real estate practitioners with added insight and knowledge about the Asian American segments.

AREAA’s ground-breaking course “Effectively Serving the Asian Pacific American Housing Markets” has been offered for continuing education credits in seven states, with more planned for 2008. Two additional courses will be available in 2008:
• “International Real Estate Transactions: Connecting the U.S. and Asian Markets”
• “Understanding Compliance Issues When Working with Asian American Homebuyers”

AREAA is also developing a designation program as another way of enhancing the professionalism of its members. This program will require completion of a series of courses that build special skills for serving the APA market.
