Lawrence Zhou joined loanDepot in 2022, bringing with him over 16 years of experience
in real estate and a deep commitment to helping families achieve the dream of
homeownership. A graduate of Union College, he began his career in commercial real
estate while also earning his Master’s in Real Estate Finance & Investments from NYU.
With a strong foundation in both finance and housing, Lawrence found loan origination
to be the perfect way to combine his skills with his passion for guiding people through
one of life’s most important financial decisions.
For Lawrence, mortgage lending is more than numbers—it’s about service, integrity, and
helping people step into the next chapter of their lives with confidence. He takes pride in
educating clients, simplifying complex financial decisions, and ensuring every family he
works with feels supported from start to finish. His greatest reward is seeing the joy and
peace of mind his clients experience when they achieve their dream of homeownership.
Outside of the office, Lawrence enjoys fishing, grilling, and spending quality time with
his family. He is actively involved in his community as Treasurer and Board Member of
AREAA (Asian Real Estate Association of America) Northern New Jersey and is a
member of Liquid Church in Wayne, NJ. Lawrence can be found at the Hoboken branch
