Yer Yang is a real estate professional based in Hickory, North Carolina, serving Catawba County and surrounding communities. Originally from Minnesota, Yer moved to North Carolina in 2013 and has called Catawba County home ever since.
Before entering real estate full-time, Yer spent nearly a decade in education as a middle school English Language Arts and Social Studies teacher from 2013 to 2022. Her years in the classroom shaped her passion for mentorship, growth, and helping others build confidence in their next steps.
Yer and her husband began investing in real estate in 2016, gaining firsthand experience in renovating and repositioning homes. After several years working alongside investors, she became a licensed real estate agent in 2023 and now specializes in helping investor clients successfully bring their projects to market. She manages the listing and disposition process from pricing strategy and marketing to negotiations and closing coordination.
Known for her thoughtful and dependable approach, Yer prioritizes relationships, trust, and integrity in every transaction. She believes real estate is ultimately about people — helping individuals and families move forward with clarity and confidence while building long-term partnerships with clients and investors.
Yer lives in Hickory with her husband, their four young children, and their pitbull. Outside of work, she is actively involved in her church community and serves as a ministry leader for Sowing Hope, a ministry dedicated to honoring, encouraging, and uplifting the senior community by cultivating meaningful fellowship, joyful connection, and Christ-centered community.
