Who/What:

The Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) will be hosting a special press conference in anticipation for its upcoming Global and Luxury Summit. The conference will feature Anthony Chan, Chief Economist at JPMorgan Chase; Lawrence Yun, Chief Economist and Senior Vice President of Research at the National Association of Realtors; Philip While, President and CEO of Sotheby’s International Realty; Dottie Herman, CEO of Douglas Elliman; and Gordon Hoppe, Senior Vice President of Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group.

Topics to be discussed at the Press Conference:

  • Impact of International Investments on NYC and US Real Estate Market;
  • Prospect for continued Asian demands for commercial and residential investments; and
  • Growth of Asian economy and its impact on US housing market.
  • AREAA Welcome Home Heroes Veterans Housing Assistance Program

About AREAA:

AREAA is a non-profit trade association of real estate professionals who serve the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. The organization boasts over 30 chapters as well as over 14,000 members throughout North America and Canada. The goal of the organization is to empower and support real estate practitioners from around the country to provide sustainable homeownership to this community.

About the 2014 Global & Luxury Summit:

This event will highlight some of the topics to be discussed at the Global and Luxury Summit, which is AREAA’s annual event that will bring together hundreds of real estate experts from around the world to discuss relevant issues in today’s international real estate market trends. The Summit will feature sessions covering topics in international, luxury, and commercial real estate transactions as well as a number of networking events designed to expand attendee’s business connections around the globe. The event will take place at the historic Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City on April 12-15, 2014.
