AREAA, NAHREP & NAREB Announce Five Point of Action
March 27, 2008
The disproportionate economic losses impacting minorities in the housing downturn, has led the combined 70,500 members and affiliates of the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA), the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) and the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB) to recommend a five-point plan that protects homeownership for people of color during the NAHREP Legislative Conference in Washington DC.
AREAA Expands Coast to Coast
With its sights set on reaching out to more local communities in 2008, AREAA has recently introduced two new chapters: AREAA of Washington State and AREAA DC Metro Chapter.
Based in Seattle, the Washington State chapter held its inaugural meeting on February 8th with over one hundred supporters in attendance. This chapter represents AREAA’s first major presence in the Pacific Northwest and is led by Windermere associate broker, Jason Watabe.
