AREAA Greater East Bay Community Day, May 30, 2015

As part of the National AREAA Build Community Day campaign and May’s Asian American Heritage Month, AREAA G.E.B. is one of 34 chapters across North America that will be giving back to homeowners on May 30th by building and repairing homes in their local neighborhoods.
As real estate professionals dedicated to making a difference in the Alameda County and Contra Costa County communities they serve, local members of the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) Greater East Bay Chapter are partnering with Rebuilding Together of Oakland (RTO) to renovate a home in the Oakland, lower Laurel District. The selected homeowners are Asian American and in in their 80’s and a veteran. They are considered very low income based on the Alameda County’s HUD guidelines.
